Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education Office – Scarborough QLD is seeking a Curriculum Leader (Arts) to direct ARTS programs at Southern Cross Catholic College, Scarborough Campus. The role is 30 hours per week in a full-time fixed-term appointment commencing January 2027.

The successful candidate will lead curriculum design, supervise teachers, analyze student performance data, and manage budgets. Salary ranges from $86,601 to $124,725 plus Middle Leader Allowance Tier 2.2 and 12.75% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Leading the designated curriculum area(s) taught in the school.
• Applying contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through professional development of teachers.
• Supervising and inducting teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility.
• Analysing student performance data and addressing areas of concern through interventions.
• Managing financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including budgets and expenditure.
