Elements of Byron is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our Pastry Team at our award-winning resort in Byron Bay. You will assist in the busy pastry section, delivering handcrafted breads, pastries and cakes, with a roster from 11.30am to 9.30pm, four days a week.

Commi/Demi level considered; sponsorship not available. Applicants must have Cert III in Commercial Cookery/Patisserie and be able to work weekends/public holidays in a luxury hotel environment, with a passion for artisan

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel/resort or busy cafe environment.
• Full availability including weekends and public holidays.
• Commitment to food safety and quality standards.
• Permanent resident status or unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the smooth operation of the pastry section, supplying breads, pastries and cakes.
• Follow recipes and plan time effectively during busy service.
• Support the pastry team during night shifts and peak periods.
