Job summary

PWE Quarry Services is seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operator to join their team in Nyora, VIC. You will be responsible for safe operation of articulated dump trucks and adherence to site procedures.

Key duties include daily pre-start checks, reporting hazards, timesheet completion, and contributing to continuous improvement while working under client specifications and site SWMS/SOPs. The role offers a pathway to full-time employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Artic Dump truck operation ticket.
• Driver's license and White Card.
• Experience working in a quarry environment.
• Use of initiative, proactive and organised approaches to work.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including Drug and Alcohol Testing).
• May lead to full time employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards for self and team.
• Report incidents, near misses and hazards to management promptly.
• Attend pre-start meetings and participate in daily team briefings.
• Complete site inductions and sign SWMS/SOPs.
• Maintain documentation such as timesheets as required.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Work in line with client documentation and requirements.

Job description

PWE Quarry Services are currently seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operator to join their dynamic, successful team based at Nyora, VIC.

Duties Include, But Not Limited To

• Responsible for your own and fellow coworkers Safety, Quality and Environmental
• Report any incidents, near misses and hazards immediately to PWE management.
• Punctuality with start, finish and break times.
• Must be able to work in a cohesive team environment .
• Complete site specific inductions.
• Sign on to all relevant SWMS and SOP's.
• Complete documentation where required e.g. Take S's, Timesheets etc.
• Pre-start meeting attendance and consultation with the team every morning.
• Responsible for Continuous improvement. Monitor and analyse operational performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Work inline to all client provided documentation and requirements.
• Performance in conjunction with Legislative Requirements and PWE documentation including Policies, SWMS, SOP's, Management Plans.
