Job summary

Regional Group Australia invites applications for an experienced Quarry Operator to join our Anakie, VIC team. The role covers mobile plant operation including a Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator, daily quarry operations, and routine maintenance of fleet.

You will perform pre-start checks, participate in toolbox talks, and adhere to WHS policies and procedures while supporting safe, efficient site operations in a cooperative team environment.

Qualifications

• Mobile plant operation experience in quarry settings is essential.
• Licences or tickets listed in the requirements.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant including Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator.
• Carry out daily quarry operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks.
• Follow WHS policies and procedures.

Regional Group Australia is currently seeking experiencedQuarry Operators to join their dynamic, successful team based at Anakie, VIC.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Mobile plant operation including Front End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator
• Carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on plant
• Participate in daily toolbox talks
• Develop a thorough understanding of RGA WHS policies and procedures
• Follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor.

Required skills and experience:

• Various plant experience includingFront End Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator
• Driver's license and White Card
• Experience working in a quarry environment
• Relevant RII tickets (not essential)
• Use of initiative, proactive and organised approached to work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including Drug and Alcohol Testing)
