Job summary

PTC Phone Tech & Comm is seeking an Area Manager to lead our Brisbane North multi-site footprint. This hands-on leadership role focuses on coaching store teams, ensuring consistent customer experiences, driving performance, and upholding our values across the region.

You’ll travel regularly, coach with accountability, and lead local marketing initiatives while maintaining high standards and HR-supported processes.

Qualifications

• Multi-site leadership experience across 3–5 stores, telco/tech or services retail preferred.
• Proven coaching skills with accountability.
• Comfortable using data to drive decisions and manage budgets.

You’ll be shoulder-to-shoulder with your teams, coaching, supporting, and even jumping in to complete repairs when needed. Leading from the front isn’t just encouraged—it’s expected. Your current footprint includes:

Chermside, North Lakes (2 locations), Capalaba, Carindale, Indooroopilly, Morayfield, Kawana and Sunshine Plaza

(subject to change based on business needs and new opportunities)

What you’ll be doing:

• Coaching Store Leaders / Muli-Site Managers to own their results, lead their people, and grow their stores
• Embedding strong team rhythms and holding others accountable through consistent in-store presence
• Lifting team performance through Success Development Plans (SDPs) and goal clarity
• Ensure all stores deliver consistent customer experiences aligned with company standards.
• Activating Local Area Marketing (LAM) to connect with communities and drive foot traffic
• Upholding compliance, visual standards, and operational excellence across all sites
• Champion our culture and values every day.
