Job summary

Structability PTY LTD, based in Southern Sydney, seeks an Architectural Draftsperson/Building Designer to join our firm. The role focuses on preparing and lodging Development Applications for existing buildings damaged by events, coordinating with subconsultants, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will draft architectural, structural and civil drawings using AutoCAD, conduct site inspections, collect measurements, and manage documentation to align with council requirements and project

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant degree or TAFE certification.
• Knowledge of NSW Home Building Industry and BCA is advantageous.
• Proficient in spoken and written English; able to interact with staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Draft architectural, structural and civil design drawings.
• Conduct site inspections and measure existing buildings.
• Prepare and lodge Development Applications (DAs) on council portal; manage DA process.
• Coordinate with subconsultants (heritage, bushfire, stormwater, structural, civil, surveyors, arborists).
• Prepare Statements of Environment Effects and Waste Management Plans; prepare CDC/CC certificates.
