Job summary

Demlakian Consulting Engineers in Sydney is seeking a motivated Structural/Civil Draftsperson to work on diverse projects, collaborating with engineers and managers to deliver high-quality drawings.

You will produce structural/civil drawings using AutoCAD, prepare sketches and plans, liaise with project managers, and help revise designs based on feedback. A minimum of three years' drafting experience and proficiency in AutoCAD are required; Revit is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil/structural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural/civil drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare sketches, charts, plans and designs for civil engineering works.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to ensure drawings meet requirements and standards.
• Interpret work instructions and apply procedures.
• Support project managers in coordinating timelines and client communications.
• Contribute to review and revision of designs based on feedback.
