Job description

Architectural Designer / Experienced Graduate – Luxury Residential

Architectural Designer – Luxury Residential & Developments
About Us

Aesthetic Developments (AD) is a growing Sydney-based luxury residential construction and property development company specialising in bespoke homes, high-end renovations and boutique developments.

As we expand our in-house architectural capabilities, we're seeking a creative, ambitious and motivated Architectural Designer to become a key part of our business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an architecture graduate ready to take the next step in their career, working directly with the business owner, construction team and external design consultants.

We're looking for someone with fresh ideas, strong design skills and the drive to take ownership of projects while helping shape the future of AD.

Our Current Project Pipeline

You'll have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of current and upcoming projects, including:

  • Luxury Three-Storey Residence: A high-end, architecturally designed residence currently progressing through council approval. Working closely with the business owner and interior designer, you'll play a key role in the post-CC stages, including detailed architectural and joinery drawings, specifications, finishes schedules, tender preparation, procurement and construction-stage design coordination.

  • Mixed-Use Property Transformation: An upcoming residential and commercial renovation and potential expansion, with opportunities to contribute to design development, planning approvals and construction documentation, subject to acquisition and approvals.

  • Future Residential Developments: Assist with architectural concepts, feasibility studies and design development for potential property acquisitions and future projects.

  • Private Design & Build Projects: Help grow AD's integrated design and construction offering, delivering bespoke homes and high-end renovations for private clients.

You’ll gain exposure to the complete project lifecycle, from initial concepts and approvals through to construction and completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive day-to-day architectural design, documentation and project coordination.

  • Develop architectural concepts, plans, elevations, 3D models and visualisations.

  • Prepare DA and CDC drawings and coordinate approval documentation.

  • Produce detailed construction drawings, joinery details, specifications and finishes schedules.

  • Collaborate with external architects, interior designers, engineers and consultants.

  • Assist with development feasibility studies and potential property acquisitions.

  • Work closely with our construction team to bring designs to life.

  • Help establish and grow AD's in-house architectural design capabilities.

About You

We're looking for a talented and ambitious architecture graduate with the confidence, creativity and initiative to take ownership of their work.

You don't need to be a senior architect. We're more interested in your ability, attitude, work ethic and ambition to grow with the business.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • A completed university degree in Architecture, with some post-graduation industry experience preferred.

  • A strong passion for luxury residential architecture, interiors and contemporary design.

  • Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD, including 3D modelling and visualisation.

  • Experience preparing architectural drawings, construction details and documentation.

  • An understanding of NSW planning approvals, including DA and CDC processes.

  • A strong eye for materials, finishes, joinery and architectural detailing.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the confidence to manage your own workload.

  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and genuine drive to take initiative.

Why Join AD?
  • $85,000–$120,000 + superannuation, depending on experience and capability.

  • Work on exciting luxury residential and boutique development projects.

  • Genuine creative input, autonomy and project ownership.

  • Work directly with the business owner and experienced construction team.

  • See your designs progress from concept to completed construction.

  • Help establish AD's in-house design capabilities from the ground up.

  • Excellent long-term career growth and the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibilities.
