Job summary

Vitragroup is seeking a Product Manager for Acoustics to lead the expansion into the architectural acoustics market. Based in NSW, you will own the technical and commercial strategy for a new product range, coordinating with leadership, manufacturing, sales, architects, engineers, and testing laboratories.

You’ll define the initial product range, materials, and pricing, oversee testing and certification, and shape market positioning to drive commercial growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive acoustics industry experience in building products or construction acoustics.
• Experience in product management, development, or technical support.
• Knowledge of acoustic principles, testing methodologies, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of initial acoustic product range.
• Identify materials, substrates, and components for market entry.
• Research market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Develop product positioning and commercial strategies.
• Provide technical acoustic advice to customers and sales teams.
• Interpret lab reports and test data for product decisions.
• Coordinate with testing laboratories for certification.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Lead new product development and continuous improvement.
• Develop technical specifications and installation guides.
• Support product specifications on major construction projects.
• Deliver technical presentations and product training.
• Build relationships with architects, engineers, and customers.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive growth.
