Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment in Brisbane is seeking an architect to lead architecture teams on large-scale multi-residential, hotel, hospitality and education projects. You’ll guide the project from concept to construction, engaging clients and stakeholders along the way.

You’ll bring a Masters in Architecture with strong Revit and Adobe Creative Suite skills, plus 4+ years in a professional practice. Brisbane experience is preferred and a proactive, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Architecture is required.
• Qld Architecture Registration is highly regarded but not required.
• 4+ years experience in a professional architecture practice.
• Strong technical capabilities with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in the multi-residential Brisbane market.
• Solid documentation and project coordination skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and enthusiasm for high‑quality outcomes.

Join a dynamic design practice located in Brisbane where you’ll have the opportunity to work across an exciting and diverse portfolio of large-scale projects within the multi-residential, hotel, hospitality and education sectors.

This is a hands-on role for an architect who’s looking for that next step in their career to get to lead architecture teams but also enjoys being involved throughout the project lifecycle. You'll work closely with clients and a range of internal and external stakeholders, playing an important role in shaping projects from initial brief to successful delivery.

We’re looking for an architect who is passionate about design, confident working with clients and keen to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients and consultants building strong and collaborative relationships.
• Develop project briefs, scopes of work and design strategies in response to client and project requirements.
• Lead and contribute to concept design and design development, within the architecture team.
• Oversee the preparation and coordination of high-quality documentation and specifications through DA, tender, building approval and construction stages.
• Contribute to a collaborative studio environment, bringing a strong design focus and proactive approach to project delivery.

What you need to be successful

• Masters Degree in Architecture
• Qld Architecture Registration highly regarded but not required
• 4+ years experience within a professional architecture practice
• Strong technical capabilities - Revit & Adobe Creative Suite is non-negotiable
• Experience working within multi-residential sector in Brisbane
• Strong documentation and project coordination skills
• A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for delivering high-quality architectural outcomes
