Job summary

Harwell Consulting on the Gold Coast is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer for a 6-month contract. You will own the billing cycle twice a month and handle reconciliations across high-value and high-volume accounts. The role emphasizes accuracy and a structured handover before system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Run the end-to-end billing cycle twice a month, reconciling source data to the billing system before invoices go out.
• Manage a portfolio ranging from major corporate accounts to a large base of smaller customers.
• Complete daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle customer queries and make sensible calls on smaller matters yourself.
• Send monthly statements and reminders, with light-touch follow-up on key accounts.

Accounts Receivable Officer | 6-Month Contract | Gold Coast

A well-established Gold Coast organisation is looking for an experienced AR Officer to join its finance team on a 6-month contract. You’ll start by backfilling a team member’s leave, with a proper handover before they move across to two major system upgrades. You’ll then keep the AR function running smoothly while those projects go live.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in getting the numbers exactly right. You’ll own the billing cycle twice a month on a mix of high-value key accounts and high-volume smaller accounts. Every step is fully documented, so you can get up to speed quickly and then run it with confidence. Between billing runs, you’ll look after daily bank reconciliations, data reconciliations and the AR inbox.
