Job summary

Nambour Christian College is seeking an experienced Aquatics & Swim School Manager to lead the operations, programs, people, and customer experience of our aquatic facilities. This role combines hands-on leadership with a passion for aquatic education, community engagement, and safety.

You will manage staff across swim school operations, oversee the facilities, and collaborate with school leadership to grow participation while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service for students,

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of aquatic or community facility teams.
• Experience in delivering quality customer service and safety.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff across swim school operations, lifeguarding, and customer service.
• Oversee day-to-day management of aquatic facilities ensuring a safe, clean environment.
• Promote community participation and program growth through strong customer service.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, bookings and planning.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, WHS, risk management and child safeguarding requirements.
• Maintain high standards of pool plant operations and facility presentation.
