Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking an Aquatics Operations Coordinator for the Chinchilla Aquatic and Fitness Centre. The role leads a team of lifeguards and Duty Managers, coordinating day-to-day operations with a focus on safety and high-quality service.

You will ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, and you will work with external contractors and council partners. A supportive team and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership with the ability to inspire others.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service focus.
• Solid knowledge of work health and safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
• Ability to liaise with external contractors and council partners.
• Maintain staff qualifications in line with company policies.
• Proficient with standard computer applications.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR.
• Blue Card and WWCC are required.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and engage a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards.
• Coordinate daily operations with emphasis on safety and quality service.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
• Monitor safety protocols and incident response readiness.
• Liaise with contractors and council partners as needed.

This is a great opportunity for qualified, friendly and skilled Operations Coordinator to join the team and lead our aquatics team! The Role We are seeking applications for an Aquatics Operations Coordinator to work at Chinchilla Aquatic and Fitness Centre. The Operation Coordinator primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high-quality service delivery. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements. Essential Skills & Attributes

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Ability to liaise with external contractors and council partners
• Ensure the team are fully qualified and adhering to the company's qualification policies and procedures.
• Advanced computer skills
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• Blue Card (National Police Check & Working with Children Check)
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
