Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking an Aquatic Operations Coordinator for the Cleveland Aquatic Centre in Queensland. You will lead a team of lifeguards and duty managers, coordinate daily operations, and ensure safety and high-quality service.

The role suits senior lifeguards seeking progression; mornings, evenings and weekend shifts are required, with strong WHS knowledge and current certifications. Belgravia Health and Leisure Group operates across Australia and NZ; they welcome diverse applicants

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and ability to inspire teams.
• Knowledge of work health and safety guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Experience with plant room management and pool operations is essential.
• Availability for mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR.
• National Police Check.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate and Pool Operations Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operation of the facility with safety and service delivery at the forefront.
• Lead, coach and engage a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards; manage hazards and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee emergency procedures and adherence to statutory requirements.

The Role

TheAquaticOperations Coordinatorprimary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements.
