Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking an Aquatics Operations Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of the Chinchilla Aquatic and Fitness Centre, emphasising safety and high-quality service delivery.

You will lead, coach and engage a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, manage hazard prevention, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and statutory requirements. This role supports a strong community recreation mission and values diversity.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience with ability to inspire others.
• Good knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Experience liaising with external contractors and council partners.

Responsibilities

This is a great opportunityforqualified, friendly and skilled Operations Coordinator to join the team and lead our aquaticsteam!

The Role

We are seeking applications for an Aquatics Operations Coordinator to work at Chinchilla Aquatic and Fitness Centre. The Operation Coordinator primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high-quality service delivery.

You will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements.

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Ability to liaise with external contractors and council partners
• Ensure the team are fully qualified and adhering to the company's qualification policies and procedures.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• Blue Card (National Police Check & Working with Children Check)
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
