Job summary

Belgravia Leisure Moss Vale is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to lead our aquatic facility. You will co-ordinate day-to-day operations, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality service while coaching a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards.

The role requires strong WHS knowledge, plant room management and a passion for the aquatics industry; mornings, evenings and weekends availability, current First Aid/CPR, and eligibility to work in Australia are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in aquatics and facility operations.
• Solid knowledge of WHS guidelines and emergency procedures.
• Proven plant room management and pool operations experience.
• Knowledge of the aquatics industry.
• Able to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificates.
• NSW Working with Children Check or ability to obtain.
• National Police Check or ability to obtain.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Current Pool Operations Certificate.
• Legally entitled to work in Australia.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the facility with safety priorities.
• Lead, coach and engage a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
• Oversee plant operations, lifeguard deployment and safety requirements.
• Maintain high-quality service delivery and guest experience.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled individual looking to take the next step in their career, to work as an Operations Coordinator. This may suit a Duty Manager with extensive experience in aquatics, looking to take the next step.

TheOperations Coordinatorprimary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements.

This role is responsible for the plant operations, Lifeguard deployment, maintenance and safety requirements.
