Job summary

Talent International is seeking an APS6 Support Needs Assessor for a 6-month contract with potential extension, based NSW locations including Charlestown, Lismore, Newcastle, Parramatta, and more. Salary: $61.86 per day plus super; 7.6 hours per day, 38 hours per week.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, ensuring person-centred and trauma-informed practice while guiding participants and families through the process in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Candidates must provide evidence of one of the listed allied health qualifications in their CV.
• Experience in disability and support needs assessment is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with person-centred assessment frameworks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct support needs assessments by gathering information from participants and representatives.
• Analyse, interpret and synthesize information to support evidence-based decisions.
• Prepare clear, comprehensive assessment reports.
• Apply policies and guidelines with sound judgement.
• Communicate assessment processes and outcomes clearly in person or virtually.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support participant planning outcomes.
• Utilise digital systems to capture information and outcomes.
• Deliver assessments across settings adapting to individual needs.
• Mentor and share knowledge to support team capability.
