Job summary

DFP Recruitment seeks an APS6 Design Strategist in Surry Hills, NSW, for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on policy, strategy and project delivery, reporting to an EL1, and involves leading a small team and coordinating with stakeholders.

You will undertake research, develop clear advice, prepare business cases and executive briefs, and monitor budgets and procurement. A tertiary qualification and relevant experience are desirable.

• Strong research and analytical skills with clear recommendations.
• Excellent written communication, briefing papers and reports.
• Ability to interpret policy and apply sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules and progress reports.
• Undertake independent research to inform policy and strategy.
• Prepare business cases, briefs and corporate documents.
• Interpret policies and provide specialist advice.
• Monitor budgets, procurement and risks.
