Job summary

Pinpoint Talent is seeking an APS6 Procurement Officer to join a Canberra-based federal government agency. You will provide procurement advice and support, and prepare procurement and contract documentation for the team.

The role requires four years in government procurement, a strong understanding of the PGPA Act, CCS, and Australian citizenship with NV1 clearance. Initial 12-month contract with possible extensions, based in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance required.
• Four years' experience in Government Procurement.
• Thorough understanding of the PGPA Act for complex procurements.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement advice and support for the team.
• Prepare procurement and contract documentation for the team.
• Monitor procurement activities including labour hire procurement support.
• Assist in tender evaluations and contract management activities.
• Administer contracts, purchase orders and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with finance policy and CCS where applicable.
• Maintain supplier contracts, relationships and performance monitoring.
• Oversee contract extensions, renewals and close-out processes.
• Provide policy guidance on Australian Government procurement requirements.
