Qualifications

• Relevant experience in policy development, legislative reform, regulation.
• Experience in financial services, superannuation, consumer protection, competition policy, digital policy, payments or emerging technologies would be highly regarded.

• Conduct research and analysis to support policy development and implementation.
• Prepare briefs, correspondence, consultation papers and other advice for ministers and senior officials.
• Support the design and implementation of legislative and regulatory reforms.
• Analyse data, stakeholder feedback and market developments to inform policy advice.
• Contribute to the coordination and delivery of policy and reform projects.
• Engage with stakeholders across government, regulators, industry and consumer groups.
• Provide administration and coordination support.
• Work collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic policy environment.

Markets Group is seeking APS4 and APS5 Analysts to contribute to the development and implementation of Australian Government policy across the financial system, retirement incomes, consumer protection, corporate regulation and the digital economy.

APS5 applicants would typically have two or more years' relevant experience.
