Job summary

Markets Group is seeking APS4 and APS5 Analysts to contribute to the development and implementation of Australian Government policy across the financial system, retirement incomes, consumer protection, corporate regulation and the digital economy. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile reforms, influence government decision-making and engage with industry, consumer groups and regulators.

Qualifications

Experience in policy development and legislative reform.
Background in regulation, financial services, superannuation or consumer protection is valued.
Ability to analyse data and provide clear policy advice.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis to support policy development and implementation.
Prepare briefs, correspondence and consultation papers for ministers and senior officials.
Support the design and implementation of legislative and regulatory reforms.
Analyse data, stakeholder feedback and market developments to inform policy advice.
Coordinate and deliver policy and reform projects.
Engage with stakeholders across government, regulators, industry and consumer groups.
Provide administration and coordination support.
Collaborate to deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic policy environment.
