No sewing or upholstery experience required, but a strong willingness to learn is essential. Responsibilities include learning fabrication from drawings, cutting materials, operating sewing machines under supervision, and assembling components.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn to fabricate thermal insulation blankets from drawings and templates.
• Cut, measure, and prepare materials accurately using appropriate tools.
• Operate industrial sewing machines under supervision and training.
• Assemble and sew components using correct stitching techniques.
• Handle fabrics, insulation fibres, and fastening components efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are achieved.
