Advanta is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist for our Seven Hills manufacturing team. You will sew and assemble upholstery covers for commercial seating, working with various fabrics to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating industrial sewing machines.
• Experience sewing fabrics in a commercial manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• High level of organisation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Sew upholstery covers using industrial sewing equipment and patterns.
• Follow production specifications to meet quality standards.
• Operate industrial sewing machinery (single needle, overlock, blind hem).
• Assist with fabric stock control and inventory management.
• Support the team to meet daily production targets and maintain a safe, productive environment.
