Job summary

Rover Pet Products in Rutherford, NSW, Australia is seeking an entry‑level or experienced Industrial Sewing & Embroidery Machine Operator to join our family‑owned manufacturing business. This full‑time role covers both industrial sewing and embroidery, with training provided if needed.

You will operate sewing and embroidery machinery, follow production instructions, and contribute to the production of pet bedding and accessories.

Qualifications

• Experience with sewing, domestic or industrial, is valuable.
• Embroidery experience is highly regarded though not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic are important.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate industrial sewing machinery (single needle, twin needle, overlocker, programmable).
• Operate commercial embroidery machinery to personalise and produce orders.
• Set up and prepare embroidery jobs using computer software and artwork/files.
• Sew and manufacture a diverse range of pet bedding and accessories.
• Follow production instructions and specifications accurately.
• Maintain high workmanship standards with quality control throughout production.
• Identify and report faults with materials or machinery.
• Assist in other areas of the business as required.
