CMV Truck & Bus Dandenong offers a four-year apprenticeship designed to train you as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician. You’ll diagnose, overhaul, repair, inspect and test a wide range of trucks and buses while learning with advanced diagnostic tools in a modern workshop.

You will study Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, gaining hands-on experience on Mack, UD, Volvo trucks and Volvo buses onsite within CMV’s training institute network.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed year 11.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• A friendly, positive, and can-do attitude.
• Your cover letter and resume should showcase any automotive-related activities, hobbies, or work experience you have undertaken

Responsabilités

Apprenticeship

CMV Truck & Bus Offers an intensive 4 year apprentice training program, providing theory and on-the-job components as part of their Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

You will learn the knowledge, skills and applications required to begin a career as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel technician working on Mack Trucks, UD Trucks, Volvo Truck and Volvo Buses onsite.

Our state-of-the‑art training institute is located at one of the most modern truck dealerships in the Southern Hemisphere. Sitting alongside our CMV Truck & Bus Derrimut Dealership, apprentices have full access to onsite parking, lockers, laundered uniforms, café and gym facilities.

The purpose‑built training institute delivers on‑the‑job elements as part of apprenticeship training, the training institute is equipped with the same tools the dealership uses, helping the apprentice to understand the safe and proper use of the tools they will be utilizing daily. Our in‑house technical trainers support apprentices in gaining a TAFE qualification through hands‑on experience.
