Fraser Coast Regional Council is offering a structured four-year plumbing apprenticeship designed to provide hands-on experience in water infrastructure, with formal study towards a Certificate III in Plumbing. • Willingness to learn and complete the apprenticeship.

About the Candidate

We are seeking an energetic, practical and motivated individual to either commence their career in Plumbing or take on a new challenge.

This opportunity offers a structured four-year apprenticeship combining practical, on-the-job experience with formal study toward a Certificate III in Plumbing. This apprenticeship offers the chance to earn while you learn and gain practical experience working alongside skilled tradespeople.

• Current Queensland C Class or CA driver's licence (provisional or open)
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely within a team environment
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Moderate computer skills and ability to use digital systems
• Willingness to learn and commit to completing a plumbing apprenticeship

What's nice to have

• Completion of Year 10 or higher
• Previous experience in labouring, construction, maintenance or a trade environment
• Demonstrated interest in plumbing, infrastructure or hands-on work
