The Standard Market Company – Newstead QLD is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Pastry Chef to join our busy bakery, BREADS, located in Gasworks Plaza, Newstead. This is a 3-year Pastry Chef Apprenticeship with on-the-job training by qualified pastry chefs.

Applicants must be available for 5AM starts, be prepared to study externally, and have full working rights in Australia. Weekend availability and a genuine passion for baking are essential to thrive in our collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 3-year Pastry Chef Apprenticeship program.
• On the job training by trade qualified Pastry Chefs.
• External study and training with a registered training organisation.

Responsibilities

• Learn pastry techniques and bakery fundamentals under supervision.
• Assist in production of breads, pastries, cakes, and pies.
• Commitment to work and study with reliability and a collaborative attitude.

We are currently seeking anenthusiastic Apprentice Pastry Chef to join our busy bakery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about creating exceptional baked goods and want to be part of a thriving team.

Please note that the role requires availability for 5AM start times.
