Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. seeks a Tower Cranes Apprentice to join our team across workshop and site environments. You’ll gain hands-on training in electrical systems, automation and electrotechnology while working on major construction projects.

You'll complete a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, learn from experienced tradespeople, and develop skills in fault diagnosis, maintenance, and safety in a dynamic, safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in electrical systems, automation and electrotechnology.
• Commitment to completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and focus on customer service and workplace presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance, servicing and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot faults using specialised tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and service manuals.
• Support preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation to a high standard.
• Work safely at all times while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
