Job summary

Maxwell Recruitment and Training is offering an apprenticeship for aspiring Electricians in Newcastle. You will gain hands-on experience across solar, battery storage and general electrical work while learning from experienced tradespeople.

Successful candidates will complete drug and alcohol testing prior to commencement and will work across Newcastle, the Central Coast and Hunter Valley. This is a great pathway with ongoing support and progression after completing the trade.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in the Electrical Trade.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Minimum completion of Year 10.
• Junior and Adult candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential and commercial solar installations.
• Install solar panels and associated equipment.
• Run and secure AC and DC electrical cabling.
• Assist with inverter, battery and switchboard installations.
• Assist with testing, maintenance and fault finding.
• Work across Newcastle, the Central Coast and Hunter Valley.

Maxwell Recruitment and Training has been a specialist supplier of skilled labour for over 15 years and currently has an opportunity for Apprentice Electricians looking to commence their apprenticeship with an established Newcastle business.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience across solar, battery storage and general electrical work while working alongside experienced tradespeople.

Successful candidates will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing prior to commencement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with residential and commercial solar installations
• Install solar panels and associated equipment
• Run and secure AC and DC electrical cabling
• Assist with inverter, battery and switchboard installations
• Assist with testing, maintenance and fault finding

• Follow all safety procedures and electrical requirements
