Job summary

The Courthouse Hotel in North Melbourne VIC is seeking an apprentice to join our kitchen team. This full-time role is paid hourly and designed for a budding chef looking to learn bread making, pasta rolling, and animal butchery from scratch.

No previous apprenticeship experience is required, though it is preferred. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef and gain hands-on training in a busy kitchen environment.

The recently refurbished Courthouse Hotel in North Melbourne is looking for an apprentice to join our team.

This position is full time paid hourly.

We are looking for someone with a passion for food, and hard work. Experience as an apprentice is not required, but is preferential. Previous work as a kitchen hand/kitchen porter is also preferred.

This is a great opportunity for a young chef to learn all the skills required from scratch, ie: bread making, pasta rolling, animal butchery. Most things are produced in house here!!!

This position is perfect for someone who wants to forge a career in hospitality, and is passionate about learning all skills required to be a professional chef.
