Responsibilities

• Assist with locking up, fixing, cladding, decks and pergolas on builds.
• Learn practical carpentry skills under the owner’s guidance.
• Set up and maintain tools for the supervising carpenter.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet project milestones.
• Maintain safety standards and keep the workspace tidy.
• Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in daily duties.

MSP Built is a purpose‑driven carpentry company working across Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs. We specialise in all aspects of carpentry, including lock‑up, fix, cladding, decks and pergolas on new builds and multi‑unit developments.

We’re a small, tight‑knit team built on family values, discipline, respect, and a genuine commitment to growth. You’ll be hands‑on from day one, learning practical skills while developing the ability to think through problems calmly and find effective solutions.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a second, third, fourth year apprentice or a qualified carpenter. We hire for character first, skills second. If you have the right mindset, we can teach you the rest.

To succeed in this role, you must:

Hold a valid driver’s licence

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (overtime when required)
