Job summary

Mineco, a leading civil and mining services company across NSW, is hiring an Apprentice Auto Electrician for 2027. Start your maintenance career by working with our tradespeople while you study Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology at our Muswellbrook workshop.

Gain hands-on experience on large-scale mining equipment and exposure to OEMs such as Liebherr, CAT and Hitachi. You’ll learn diagnostics from qualified tradesmen, with a path to a Full Time Qualified position after completing the

Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients, including bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, mobile crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield, a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop, and a Queensland operations office, we support major sites across NSW and QLD.

We are currently looking to bring onboard an Apprentice Auto Electrician for 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to start your maintenance career within the mining industry by working on large-scale mining equipment.

About the Role:

• Kick Start your maintenance career and learn from experienced Plant Mechanics while completing your Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology
• Gain hands-on experience working on Mineco’s fleet of large-scale mining and earthmoving equipment
• Exposure to a variety of OEM's such as Liebherr, CAT & Hitachi
• Develop real-world electrical diagnostic skills in our Muswellbrook workshop
