Job summary

Mineco, a leading civil and mining services company on the East Coast of Australia, is recruiting 2 Apprentice Plant Mechanics for 2027 to start a maintenance career in the mining industry. You’ll work in our Muswellbrook workshop learning on large-scale equipment and complete your Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.

You will gain hands-on experience with OEMs such as Liebherr, CAT and Hitachi, enjoy a Monday–Friday roster, and secure a full-time qualified position upon apprenticeship

Job description

Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients, including bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, mobile crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield, a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop, and a Queensland operations office, we support major sites across NSW and QLD.

We are currently looking to bring onboard 2 Apprentice Plant Mechanics for 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to start your maintenance career within the mining industry by working on large-scale mining equipment.

About the Role:

• Kick Start your maintenance career and learn from experienced Plant Mechanics while completing your Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology
• Gain hands-on experience working on Mineco's fleet of large-scale mining and earthmoving equipment
• Exposure to a variety of OEM's such as Liebherr, CAT & Hitachi
• Develop real-world mechanical and diagnostic skills in our Muswellbrook workshop
