Job summary

Wirtgen Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Application Support Manager in Stapylton, QLD. You will build strong customer relationships, guide internal knowledge, and work with the sales team to craft innovative crushing and screening solutions using Kleemann products.

The role requires a solid mechanical background, at least 5 years in crushing and screening, and a valid driver’s license. You will promote the Kleemann line and participate in training and trade shows across national markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in crushing and screening applications.
• Unencumbered driver’s license.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook/Visio) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to advise via Agg-Flow to customers and colleagues.
• Strong relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Clear, effective communication in oral and written form.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with customer contacts at all levels.
• Guide and support internal capability development for customers.
• Support sales team by developing solutions for customers.
• Provide application and technical input to promote Kleemann products.
• Promote Kleemann brand in mining, quarrying and recycling markets.
• Organise and participate in trade shows, seminars and training events.
• Provide regular reporting to manager with a NO Surprises approach.

APPLICATION SUPPORT MANAGER – STAPYLTON, QLD

Key Duties:

Develop strong relationships with customer contacts at all levels to gain understanding, impart knowledge and become a valuable partner in their crushing and screening associated operations.

Guide and support the development of internal capabilities to support clients in expanding their knowledge and expertise in crushing and screening applications.

Guide and support the sales team in securing sales through direct involvement, as appropriate, in developing innovative solutions to customers.

Provide application and technical input to promote the benefit of KLEEMANN product line offerings including machines, after sales support and application knowledge.

Promote and Support the KLEEMANN product brand through the National Mining, Quarrying and Recycling markets.

Manage and participate in trade shows, conventions and training seminars.

Regular reporting with a NO Surprises approach to your direct manager.

To be considered you must have the following:

• A strong mechanical background and aptitude, deep knowledge and experience within crushing and screening applications (with a minimum of 5 years’ experience).
• Unencumbered driver’s license.
• Intermediate computer skills with the ability to operate with the MS Office suite (VISIO) including Outlook.
• Ability to provide application advice via Agg-Flow to internal and external customers.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills, proven ability to develop rapport with others and form lasting working relationships.
• Advanced communication skills, proven ability to convey information in both verbal and written formats as appropriate for the needs of the target audience.
• Clear problem solver, apply logic or reasoning to review information, identify problems and their causes, evaluate options and select the best solution.
• High level of organisational skills, including high attention to detail.
• Significant prior experience &/or Cert. IV in training & assessment.
• The ideal candidate will also need to complete and pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and obtain a police clearance.
