Job summary

DFP Recruitment in Sydney is seeking an experienced Appian Developer with strong client-facing skills to analyze, design, develop and deploy Appian applications. The role is based in Sydney with flexible hybrid working arrangements reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The position requires leadership of development teams, involvement in demos, POCs, pre-sales, scoping and client presentations, plus staying current with automation and low-code tools.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of client-facing experience in Appian projects.
• Strong Appian design and development experience, including BPM, connectors, web services and Java.
• Knowledge of automation and low-code platforms, ERP/CRM/BPM/data integration.
• Experience leading teams and engagements; strong analytical and risk management.
• Appian Developer Certification(s) and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems using Appian and supporting platforms.
• Lead development teams, troubleshoot issues and coach junior staff.
• Lead solution demos, POCs, effort estimates, pre-sales and client presentations.
• Research tools to simplify development and maintain documentation and training.
• Support recruitment activities and build relationships with Appian Customer Success Managers.
