Job summary

DFP Recruitment in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to join our client-facing team. You will apply Appian expertise across analysis, design, development and deployment, and lead projects to support successful customer outcomes in a flexible hybrid setup.

You will mentor junior staff, drive demonstrations, POC workshops and pre-sales activities, and stay current with automation and low-code trends. 8–10 years of Appian experience and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of client-facing experience in Appian-based projects.
• Strong Appian development expertise including Appian BPM, connectors and web services.
• Experience with Java and custom development.
• Knowledge of automation, low-code platforms and data management.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex technical problems using Appian and supporting platforms.
• Lead development teams, mentor juniors and ensure high quality delivery.
• Lead solution demonstrations, POC workshops, estimation activities and client presentations.
• Research and implement tools to simplify development while maintaining documentation and training.
