Job description

Apparel Print Production & Operations Coordinator

We’re looking for an energetic, organised and growth-minded person to join our team in a varied, hands‑on production and operations role within a growing custom apparel business in Kingsgrove.

This isn’t a traditional warehouse role, and it isn’t a desk‑only coordinator position either.

Your day will be a mix of hands‑on apparel print production, production coordination, e‑commerce and technology. One part of your day might involve running our DTF printer and heat pressing garments; another could involve managing the production schedule, fulfilling e‑commerce orders, working within Shopify or finding a better way to run a process using technology and AI.

You’ll take ownership of the day‑to‑day flow of orders through production, from approved artwork and incoming garments through printing, quality control and dispatch.

About the role

Key responsibilities
  • Operate DTF printing equipment and heat presses to produce decorated garments.
  • Prepare print and production files and maintain customer approval records.
  • Manage and prioritise the daily production schedule to ensure orders are completed on time.
  • Check incoming garments and stock against customer orders and identify discrepancies.
  • Perform quality control throughout production and before dispatch.
  • Process and fulfil e‑commerce orders.
  • Assist with the day‑to‑day management of our Shopify platform.
  • Pick, pack and dispatch completed orders as part of the broader production process.
  • Maintain organised production and stock areas.
  • Complete routine equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production systems, processes and workflows.
  • Use AI and other technology to improve efficiency, organisation and the way we work.
  • Assist with the development of future production capabilities, including embroidery and DTG printing.
About you

We’re looking for more than someone who can simply complete a list of tasks.

You’ll be energetic, curious and proactive, with a genuine desire to learn new skills and take on more responsibility as you develop.

You’ll enjoy this role if you:

  • Take pride in producing high‑quality work.
  • Enjoy being busy and having variety in your day.
  • Are comfortable moving between hands‑on production and computer‑based work.
  • Can organise your workload and manage competing priorities.
  • Notice problems and look for solutions rather than waiting for someone else to fix them.
  • Enjoy learning new software, equipment and technology.
  • See AI as a genuine productivity and business tool and are excited about learning how to use it effectively.
  • Want to develop your skills and responsibilities as the business grows.

Experience with DTF printing, heat pressing, apparel decoration, print production, Shopify/e‑commerce, production scheduling, Adobe Creative Suite, RIP software, inventory management, Microsoft 365 or AI productivity tools would be highly regarded.

Experience with commercial embroidery, DTG printing, screen printing, sales or customer service would also be advantageous.

You don’t need experience in every area. We’re also interested in people from print, production or manufacturing backgrounds who have strong transferable skills, practical ability and a genuine willingness to learn.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to become an important part of a growing apparel business rather than simply filling a production position.

We’re continuing to invest in technology, equipment, e‑commerce and new production capabilities, and we’re looking for someone who wants to develop alongside the business.

  • Full‑time Monday‑to‑Friday position.
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Clothing allowance.
  • Performance bonuses.
  • Ongoing training and development.
  • Work with premium custom apparel and leading global clothing brands, clubs and organisations.
  • Develop skills across production, e‑commerce, technology and AI.
  • Opportunity to contribute ideas and improve the way our production operation works.
  • Genuine career progression into senior production or operations roles as the business grows.
