Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an accomplished Sales Leader for the APJ region to lead the CXE business (Amazon Connect) with a focus on Contact Center as a Service and generative AI.

You will build and lead a high-performing sales team, drive revenue growth from new services and partnerships, and develop lighthouse customers across Asia-Pacific and Japan. The role requires strong market-making and operational leadership, with a track record of expanding customer segments and delivering strategic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or BS degree.
• 7+ years of sales or sales management in infrastructure or cloud technology experience.
• Experience in customer-facing leadership roles.
• Experience in a people management or leadership role which includes coaching and developing others.
• Experience with negotiation and relationship building skills with sales teams (ideally with content creators, agencies and brands).
• Experience managing teams, or experience in sales/business development.
• Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders.
• Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 5+ years of exceeding quota and key performance metrics experience.
• 4+ years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic workloads to deepen business and technical relationships with customers and partners.
• Develop a high-performing sales team and enable field organization to drive day-to-day interactions and identify long-term opportunities.
• Incubate new AWS Productivity Applications services, scale existing AWS services, and deliver domain expertise to the field.
• Influence product teams with customer insights to evolve products and address field issues and requests.
• Analyze customer insights from business drivers, market trends, customer feedback, and operating metrics.
• Establish clear goals for the team, including quotas.
• Ensure the team manages opportunities through the sales cycle with strong pipeline hygiene.
• Plan and allocate resources to meet goals and quotas.
