Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is recruiting for a Commonwealth Government organisation in Canberra seeking an API Technical Lead. You will join a multidisciplinary scrum team delivering APIs and guiding integration strategy using MuleSoft, Jira and Confluence.

You will review changes, monitor production, troubleshoot API and integration issues, and develop CI/CD automation documentation. Applicants with MuleSoft certification and API gateway experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MuleSoft Certified or equivalent preferred.
• Experience designing and developing API gateway integration solutions.
• Experience building REST APIs and Platform Events.
• Experience with Source Control tools (GitLab) and package-based development.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australian's living with disability, require the services of an API Technical Lead.

Duties:

• Be a pivotal member of a talented multi-disciplinary scrum team focused on delivery of APIs as part of a new program of work, using Jira & Confluence.
• Perform technical review of support changes, ensuring best practice methodology is employed and organisational architecture patterns are adhered to.
• Hands-on approach in monitoring production environment and providing enhancement with trouble shooting API and integration issues with MuleSoft.
• Develop and maintain documentation on processes and configurations for CI/CD automations using CLI tools to deploy application and policies.

Skills and Experience:

• Possess current MuleSoft Certified and has a strong knowledge of Mavan.
• Experience in designing and developing API Gateway integration solutions.
• Experience in building and working with integration (example REST APIs, Platform Events).
• Experience working with Source Control tools (e.g. GitLab) & package-based development.
