Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is recruiting for a Commonwealth Government organisation in Canberra seeking an API Technical Lead. You will join a multidisciplinary scrum team delivering APIs and guiding integration strategy using MuleSoft, Jira and Confluence.

You will review changes, monitor production, troubleshoot API and integration issues, and develop CI/CD automation documentation. Applicants with MuleSoft certification and API gateway experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MuleSoft Certified or equivalent preferred.
• Experience designing and developing API gateway integration solutions.
• Experience building REST APIs and Platform Events.
• Experience with Source Control tools (GitLab) and package-based development.

Responsibilities

• Be a pivotal member of a multidisciplinary scrum team delivering APIs in a new program.
• Perform technical reviews of support changes using best practices and architecture patterns.
• Hands-on monitoring of production and troubleshooting API and integration issues with MuleSoft.
• Develop and maintain documentation for CI/CD automations and deployment tooling.
