Job summary

Airwallex in Melbourne is seeking an experienced SDR Manager to own strategy, execution, and performance of the SDR team, generating high-quality pipeline and developing sales talent. You will lead from the front, coaching and scaling an outbound motion while collaborating with Account Executives, Marketing, and RevOps.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in B2B SaaS or fintech sales.
• Experience leading or coaching a small SDR team.
• Strong commercial acumen to refine ICP.
• Proven ability to generate qualified pipeline.
• Hustler mentality; thrives in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a high-performing SDR team for new customer acquisition.
• Drive intensity and velocity to accelerate pipeline and revenue.
• Hunt and sharpen ICPs to focus on high-revenue opportunities.
• Leverage AI and automation to improve prospecting and research.
• Improve SDR processes and tooling to prioritize high-impact activities.
• Coach on messaging, discovery, and qualification to improve conversions.
• Partner with AEs, Marketing, and RevOps to optimize lead flow and handoffs.
• Establish dashboards and reporting for pipeline outcomes.
• Hire, onboard, and ramp new SDRs with clear career paths.
