Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group Australia in Sydney, NSW, seeks a Sales and Pricing Analyst APAC to drive pricing strategy and deal approvals with the Sales and Finance teams. You’ll analyse data to support commercial decisions, build processes, and automate where possible in a high-volume environment.

You’ll partner with local and global stakeholders, have CA/CPA membership support, and enjoy a clear path to leadership within a global travel group.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in Finance, Pricing or Analytics.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI/Power Query are attractive but not required.
• Ability to demonstrate commercial knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to find process efficiencies while maintaining controls.
• Ability to work autonomously and with agility.

Responsibilities

• Deal Review and Approval: review all fees and adjustments from Sales, ensuring pricing strategy alignment.
• Design and support sales strategy with Head of Sales, ANZ.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations and Finance to manage deal inquiries and approvals.
• Streamline the deal approval process and manage delegation authorities.
• Maintain records of deal approvals, discounts and adjustments; provide management reports.
• Assist in development and maintenance of pricing policies and procedures.
• Assess financial impact of proposed deals to meet profitability targets.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for Sales and broader business.
• Handle daily admin tasks of the commercial desk.
