Job summary

Rina Energy is seeking an experienced APAC Renewables Engineering Project Manager to lead and execute complex renewable energy and storage projects in the APAC region from Melbourne, Australia. You will develop plans, manage budgets, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver on time and within scope.

The role emphasizes client liaison, risk management, and adherence to safety and quality standards, with strong collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering General required.
• 5+ years in engineering or technical role on renewable energy or storage projects.
• PM certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) desirable; Agile cert beneficial.
• Experience with Waterfall/Agile methodologies; scheduling, budgeting, resourcing.
• Familiarity with safety, quality control, contracts, and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives and deliverables.
• Adjust project plans to changes in scope, timeline or resources and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Act as main client contact; provide regular status updates and address inquiries.
• Coordinate task assignments with project engineers and discipline leaders; balance workloads.
• Develop and manage project budget; monitor spending and forecast variances.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; maintain risk log and implement mitigation plans.
• Oversee quality assurance; ensure deliverables meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation; prepare final reports and lessons learned.
