RWE Renewables Australia Pty Ltd. invites applications for Head of Project Engineering Australia to lead regional engineering across onshore wind, solar PV, BESS and hybrid projects.

The role oversees engineering delivery from development through COD, driving design optimization and cost-efficient solutions. You will head a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with Development, Grid, Procurement and Construction to meet technical, schedule and budget targets, while embedding Health & Safety and

Qualifications

10+ years in project engineering for renewables.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Experience from development to construction and COD.
Chartered Engineer status or RPEQ highly regarded.
Degree in engineering or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

Lead the Project Engineering function in Australia and manage a multidisciplinary team.
Coaching, mentoring and providing technical leadership to the engineering team.
Deliver engineering support across full project lifecycle from development to commissioning.
Optimize plant design, energy yield and cost efficiency across wind, solar, BESS, and hybrid.
Prepare scopes of work and technical specifications for large procurement contracts.
Ensure compliance with standards, permits, and safety by design.
