Job summary
Motion is seeking an experienced Category Manager – Pumps & Seals to lead the strategic direction and performance of the APAC Pumps & Seals portfolio. You will partner with sales, engineering and marketing to expand market presence and strengthen competitive position across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.
Reporting to the General Manager Fluid Power Products Asia Pacific, you will oversee supplier negotiations, product range strategy and market development while driving profitability
Qualifications
- Extensive industry experience in pumps, mechanical seals, fluid handling or related industrial sector.
- Demonstrated category or portfolio leadership.
- Proven supplier-management and commercial execution capability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver APAC Pumps & Seals category strategy to drive sales and market share.
- Manage product range, pricing, promotions and margin performance.
- Lead supplier negotiations, trading agreements and strategic partnerships.
- Develop regional sales plans and identify new products and opportunities across APAC.
- Collaborate with sales, supply chain and marketing to improve inventory and country growth.
- Lead product and business development teams, coaching and field support.
