Job summary

Sodali & Co in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Payroll & HR Operations Specialist to join on a permanent basis, supporting payroll delivery and People Operations across APAC. The role is weighted roughly 60% payroll and 40% HR operations, requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong data integrity.

You will own end-to-end payroll for APAC regions (Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan), maintain records, respond to queries, and help streamline HR processes from onboarding to offboarding

Qualifications

• End-to-end APAC payroll delivery ownership across multiple jurisdictions.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Celergo.
• Working knowledge of payroll compliance, taxation, superannuation, and employment legislation.
• Experience supporting People Operations or HR administration activities, including lifecycle support.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full end-to-end payroll function across APAC regions (Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, and Japan).
• Maintain payroll records, resolve payroll queries, and ensure confidentiality of payroll data.
• Reconcile payroll reports with Finance for accurate accounting and reporting of payroll costs.
• Ensure compliance with local taxation, superannuation, and employment legislation.
• Assist with day-to-day People Operations, including onboarding/offboarding and contracts, and maintain HR data across systems.
• Support HR dashboards and reporting frameworks to provide visibility over key people metrics.
