Job summary

IMC is seeking an HR Operations Manager to lead the APAC HR Operations function on a 14-month contract, covering Sydney, Hong Kong and Korea. The role combines hands-on leadership with ownership of the end-to-end employee lifecycle and mobility program.

You will manage a Sydney-based team of HR Generalists and Coordinators and partner with global teams to move top talent across regions. You will shape processes, optimize HR data, and drive immigration compliance while maintaining high service

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
6+ years in a generalist HR or HR operations role in a fast-paced environment.
Experience leading a small team and driving mobility/immigration programs.
Strong HRIS knowledge and data-driven approach; familiarity with Workday.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the HR Operations team across APAC from Sydney, with governance of processes and performance.
Own end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, relocations, and offboarding.
Oversee global mobility/immigration activity, sponsorships, renewals and compliance.
Partner with HRIS, Legal, Finance and Payroll to ensure accurate data and timely reporting.
Drive process improvements, SOPs, and automation to raise efficiency and cost discipline.
