Job summary

Gofractional is seeking an HR Operations Manager for a hands-on leadership role based in Sydney. You will manage a Sydney-based team and own the employee lifecycle, with a focus on mobility and immigration across APAC and beyond.

This 14-month contract requires delivering high standards, driving ongoing projects, and setting up the team for a smooth handover. The role offers broad exposure within a high-performing global trading firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in HR generalist/HR Operations roles in fast-paced environments.
• Experience leading a small team and global mobility across APAC is preferred.
• Strong HRIS knowledge, preferably Workday, with data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR Operations team in Sydney.
• Own mobility and immigration across APAC, coordinating visas and relocations.
• Run HR Operations across the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Improve HR processes, SOPs, and automate where possible.
• Collaborate with HRIS, Legal, Finance and Payroll for accurate delivery.
• Support regional compensation queries and annual review cycles.
