APAC HR Coordinator: Recruitment, Payroll & Systems

Job summary

BlastOne International is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join the APAC HR team in Brisbane. You’ll support employees and managers across Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, covering recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, payroll coordination and WHS.

You’ll work with the HR Manager APAC to own HR administration, maintain accurate records in BambooHR and ADP, prepare HR correspondence, and deliver timely reports that enhance the employee experience across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in an HR Coordinator/HR Administrator or similar role.
• Qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting recruitment and employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience using an HRIS and payroll information.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment from advertising through to offer and commencement.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding activities and support a positive employee experience.
• Prepare employment contracts, variations, salary letters and HR correspondence.
• Maintain accurate employee records across BambooHR, ADP and other HR systems.
• Coordinate payroll changes including new starters, terminations, salary changes, allowances and leave.
• Respond to day‑to‑day HR enquiries from employees and managers.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce data.
• Support remuneration reviews and other HR initiatives.
• Assist with WHS administration, reporting and record keeping.
• Identify practical opportunities to improve HR systems and processes.
