Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a Global People Services - APAC Team Lead in Brisbane. You will lead a regional team, oversee HR operations, Workday activities and escalation management, and partner with HR, Payroll, IT and Finance to drive service improvements.

You will guide and develop team members, ensure data accuracy, and deliver reporting on team performance across time zones in support of the employee experience within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a process-oriented HR role
• Strong knowledge of People Experience processes and systems
• Ability to understand dependencies in a complex IT environment
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience working with remote teams
• Leadership experience preferred (coaching/mentoring)
• HR, Business or related degree preferred
• Willingness to participate in meetings across locations (India to New Zealand)

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Global People Services day-to-day operations
• Provide guidance, coaching and feedback to team members
• Drive QA activities and identify training opportunities
• Act as escalation point for team members and stakeholders
• Build relationships with regional HR, Payroll, Finance and Workday teams
• Coordinate with IT and Workday resources to resolve issues
• Improve knowledge articles, processes, and user experience
• Oversee data accuracy across Workday and Payroll systems
• Provide reporting on team metrics and process effectiveness
• Ensure coverage across extended global time zones
• Drive continuous improvement in collaboration with stakeholders
• Contribute to an inclusive and safe workplace environment
